Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-03
This policy explains what personal data PikPlanner collects when you use it to manage and publish content to Facebook Pages, why we use it, who we share it with, and how you can control or delete it.
Who we are
- PikPlanner is operated by C&C MINDS CONSTRUCT S.R.L., Str. Constantin Dobrogeanu Gherea Nr. 45, Sântana, Arad 317280, Romania, tax ID RO43045200 (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
- Contact for any privacy question or request: support@pikplanner.com.
Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Facebook data, only after you connect Facebook and choose which Pages to grant: your Facebook user ID, name and profile picture; for each Page you connect, its ID, name, picture and a Page access token issued by Facebook.
- Page statistics (Page Insights) that Facebook returns for your connected Pages, such as views, engagement and followers.
- Content you create or upload: photos, videos, post texts, first comments, schedules and settings (for example your time zone and language).
- Technical data needed to run the service: publishing history, error messages returned by Facebook, and basic server logs (such as IP address and time of requests).
How and why we use your data
- To provide the service you signed up for: publishing the posts, Reels, Stories and first comments you create or schedule to the Pages you selected, and showing your history and Page statistics (legal basis: performance of a contract).
- To connect your Facebook Pages, only with your explicit permission given in Facebook's dialog, which you can withdraw at any time (legal basis: consent).
- To keep the service secure and working — detecting broken Page connections, preventing abuse, fixing errors (legal basis: legitimate interest).
- We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not build profiles of Facebook users.
Who we share it with
- Meta Platforms (Facebook): your content and actions are sent through the official Graph API only to perform what you request. Meta processes this data under its own Privacy Policy.
- Our hosting provider, Contabo GmbH (Germany), which stores the data on our behalf on servers in the European Union (France), under a GDPR data processing agreement.
- Public authorities, only when required by law.
- We do not share your data with any other third parties.
International transfers
- We store your data in the European Union. Data sent to Meta may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where data leaves the EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
- We use only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in and one to remember your language. We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.
Security
- Your data is stored on servers in the European Union (France). Access tokens are kept on the server and never shown in the browser. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes. All connections use HTTPS, and access to the servers is restricted.
How long we keep data
- We keep your data while your account and Page connections are active.
- When you disconnect a Page, its access token is deleted immediately. When you delete your account, all your data is deleted within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep certain records longer.
Your rights
- Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also remove PikPlanner's access from your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations / Apps and websites).
- To exercise your rights, write to support@pikplanner.com. See the Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions.
- You may also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, www.dataprotection.ro) or the authority in your country.
Children
- PikPlanner is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if we learn that we have, we delete it.
Changes to this policy
- We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect; the date at the top shows the latest version.
